Four Eucharistic Handmaids sisters of Mulagi convent, Tororo took their final religious vows over the weekend at Mulagi Catholic Church in Butaleja district. The professed sisters include Grace Akongo, Josephine Nangira, Magdaline Mbinya and Florence Ndaruzaniye.
Grace Akongo one of the professed sisters, a resident of Sop Sop sub county Tororo district acknowledged the hardship in the training to become a sister. She advised young girls to always consider giving their life to God as a priority in life.
During the profession the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tororo his lordship Rt. Rev Emmanuel Obbo called upon Christians to consider taking their children to schools run by sisters and not affiliate the investment to the sisters who have no children to attend the schools.
The Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda HE August Blum while professing the sisters asked them to always be courageous despite the fact that they are a minority.
