FT: Police FC 2-0 Proline FC
A brace from Norman Ogik in either half of the game was enough for Police FC to beat Proline Football Club and clinch the top of the Azam Uganda Premier League table on Friday evening.
A thirty first minute tap off an Albert Mugisha ground cross ensured the striker scored back to back goals against Proline following a similar strike last season while at Sadolin Paints.
Thirteen minutes after recess, Ogik was back to torment the Lugogo based side with an easy tap into an empty net to make it two nil for the corps.The win ensured the 2005 champions move to the top of the Azam Uganda Premier League table on seven points from three games so far played, two above the defending champions KCCA FC who are second.
Wankulukuku based Express FC and Proline are second last and last consecutively on the sixteen team log.On the top scorers log, Onduparaka’s Ceasar Okuthi and KCCA FC midfield maestro Muzamiru Mutyaba and Norman Ogik(Police) are leading with two goals each.The league resumes Saturday with a number of games at various stadia around the country.
