Tororo County South Member of Parliament Fredrick Angura has asked the Government to come out and address the issues surrounding the division of Tororo district saying the delay is affecting service delivery.
The legislator observed that currently, the District Council is not sitting due to lack of co-operation between West Budama Councilors and those from Tororo County.
Early this month, speaker John Okeya was forced to adjourn the council seating due to lack of quorum resulting from a boycott by councilors from West Budama.
Angura tasked Finance, Planning and Economic Development Minister Matia Kasaija to remind the president to pronounce himself on the issue of Tororo because all the boundaries are well known.
Angura was said this yesterday during handover ceremony of Free Zone Developer’s License to GuangZou Dong Song Energy Group yesterday at the factory premises.
